• Teen Volunteer Program

  • Teen Volunteer Program at Penrose-St. Francis in Colorado Springs The Teen Volunteer Program is for youth between the ages of 14 and 17. Many volunteer because they want to explore health care careers, fulfill high school community service hours, accumulate volunteer hours for college applications, make a positive impact in the community or do something their friend is doing. Most teen volunteers serve an average of three to four hours once a week in a volunteer position of their choice. They can choose a patient care area, a non patient care area or a clerical area. Our patients do enjoy the youth and vitality of our teen volunteers. Teen orientation is offered three times a year.

Teen volunteer application and paperwork is due August 22, 2014.
