Cosimo G. Sciotto, M.D., Ph.D., Medical Director
Dr. Sciotto received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed his pathology resident training at the University of Colorado in Denver. His interests lie in evaluating hematopoietic malignancies and various chromosomal abnormalities associated with leukemias and lymphomas. He is boarded in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology, Hematopathology and Immunopathology. Since his arrival at Penrose Hospital in 1981, he has been the Medical Director of Immunopathology and Cytogenetics.
Timothy C. Drumheller, Ph.D., Technical Director
Dr. Drumheller received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Wayne State University in Detroit and completed postdoctoral fellowship training in clinical cytogenetics at Yale University. Before joining Penrose Hospital in June of 2003, he directed the Cytogenetics Laboratory at Children's Hospital Central California. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of cytogenetics and a special interest in childhood leukemias and solid tumors. He is boarded in clinical cytogenetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics, a diplomat of the American College of Medical Genetics and a member of the American Society of Human Genetics.
