Prematurity Prevention Class
A baby born before the 37th week of pregnancy or weighing less than 5½ pounds is considered premature. Babies born too early or too small encounter many serious health problems and may require intensive care in the hospital. A must class for all expectant couples! You will learn how to recognize the signs of premature labor and take precautions to prevent premature birth. It is ideal to attend class at 18 to 28 weeks of pregnancy; up to 35 weeks is beneficial. Cost: $10 (Fathers are encouraged to attend at no additional charge)
