Penrose-St. Francis Health Services offer a broad spectrum of imaging services including low-radiation CAT scans, angiography, ultrasound, digital mammography and nuclear medicine. MRI and PET scanning are provided through our partnership with PENRAD imaging. Our Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) is a computer system that captures, stores, distributes and displays medical images and relevant patient information. Electronic images and reports are transmitted digitally via the storage system PACS providing near-instant access from multiple locations. Because the system is web-based your doctor can access the images through a secured site on the Internet from their home or office. They don’t have to be physically in the hospital to view the images. As a patient, if you need a copy of your image or radiologist report, you can receive it on a CD that you keep rather than a film that you have to check out and return. Call 719-776-8010 to schedule:
