Penrose-St. Francis Health Services provides many comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients who have sustained significant injuries, disabilities, or those who have chronic illnesses requiring the need for a specialized team approach to rehabilitation. The types of rehabilitation services offered by or in conjunction with Penrose-St. Francis Health Services are listed to the left. A few of the specialty treatments provided by Penrose Rehab include; physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, acupuncture and audiology. Treatments for balance, incontinence, sports injuries, lymphedema, cancer, and neurological conditions are also available. When Rehab is needed, a comprehensive plan of care is established based on the findings in your evaluation. It is specific to your individual needs and goals. Your rehabilitation therapy staff will work with you to achieve your goals with the ultimate objective of returning to your previous level of function. You will be instructed on specific activities or exercises to do at home that will enhance your progress. Your physician will be regularly informed of your progress and will be notified when you no longer need therapy services.
