Peter Walsh, MD
Vice President of Medical Affairs, St. Francis Medical Center

Dr. Walsh joined the St. Francis Medical Center leadership team in December 2008. He has more than 28 years of medical expertise and leadership experience, including a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force.  Prior to joining SFMC, he supported Centura Center for Occupational Medicine (CCOM) in Colorado Springs and Pueblo as an Occupational Health Physician.  He was also the CEO and Commander of the 10th Medical Group, U.S. Air Force Academy Hospital, and the 3rd Medical Group in Alaska, the largest military hospital in the state.

Dr. Walsh holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and is Board Certified in Aerospace Medicine.
