Visiting Hours

Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family members and friends are welcome to visit. Please remember though that rest and relaxation are also extremely important. Because visiting can be tiring to the patient, we ask that friends and relatives follow these guidelines:

  • No more than two visitors are allowed at the bedside at one time.
  • Short visits are often appreciated.
  • Visitors in semi-private rooms should be considerate of both patients.
  • Patients are susceptible to other contagious illnesses, so persons with colds, sore throats or other contagious illnesses should not visit the patient.
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when a physician or nurse needs to see the patient.
