Pelvic pain and urinary incontinence are two of the most common problems caused by pelvic floor dysfunction, which has been estimated to affect women of all ages and lifestyles. These problems can lead to sitting or walking difficulties, urine leakage and painful intercourse. Dr. Scott Russell, obstetrician/gynecologist and Debbie Gillis, physical therapist, will explain the causes, diagnosis and latest treatment options for pelvic pain and urinary incontinence. You’ll also learn simple exercise tips to help prevent and manage symptoms associated with pelvic floor dysfunction. Refreshments will be provided. To register, call 776-5052.
