• Individual Wellness Coaching

  • We believe that positive behavior change is very personal.  Our wellness coaching model helps employees set and achieve goals using a proven behavior change model.  Certified coaches engage and empower individuals with one-on-one and face-to-face coaching in a process of continuous personal health improvement. By building a relationship with the employee, they establish a foundation of trust and teambuilding while facilitating engagement in other aspects of the wellness program.  Our coaches keep participants focused, goal oriented accountable and motivated. 

    Coaching can be done on-site at your location (preferred) or via telephone. Coaching models range from 3-12 sessions per person and are customized to fit your needs.

    Meet Our Coaches

    Judy Flaherty, M. Ed., Certified Wellness Coach
    Judy has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of health promotion; ranging from managing an outpatient cardiac rehabilitation unit to staff physiologist at The Health Learning Center, a chronic  disease management department for Penrose Health Systems.  She earned her master's degree in Health Promotion and Exercise Science from Vanderbilt University.  Most recently, Judy received a nationally accredited certification in wellness coaching from Well Coaches Corp.  With a passion to help people develop and sustain optimal mental and physical health, along with her experience and educational background, Judy strives to empower clients to take charge, connect with their deepest motivators, and learn how to grow and change.

    Michelle Somers, RD, Certified Wellness Coach, CPT
    Michelle has an undergraduate degree in dietetics from the University of Colorado. She is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer and has worked in the Penrose-St. Francis Health Services' Wellness Department for more than five years. Michelle has a nationally accredited certification in wellness coaching from Well Coaches Corp.  Michelle enthusiastically embraces eating well and exercising to achieve physical and mental health as well as life balance. Michelle believes that everyone needs a partner and advocate to support them to create wellness goals and ultimately fulfill one's desire to be the best that they can be. Michelle's passions are to listen, connect, support and guide others along their journey.

    Nicole Chandanais, MS, CPT, ACE
    Nicole Chandanais has her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Michigan State University and recently graduated with her master's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from CALU Pennsylvania.  Nicole is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Personal Trainer.  Nicole is currently pursuing her certification as a Certified Wellness Coach.  Nicole has years of experience ranging from employment in physical rehabilitation to company wellness programs. She has worked with many people who thought there was something more and she was proud to show them that they were right ~ a healthy, physically active lifestyle is open to all!  Nicole is passionate about her work and dedicated to helping clients progress towards, and achieve, their goals.
