  • Gynecology Services

RidgeGate OBGYN’s doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and staff members have a true passion for women’s health in every stage of life. As a full-service gynecological practice, we offer our patients annual well woman exams, pap smears, breast examinations and assistance with contraception options and procedures. We also offer examinations related to infertility, urinary incontinence, abnormal bleeding (menses), pelvic pain, and menopause symptoms.

For patients who experience abnormal uterine bleeding, we offer many treatment options [link to abnormal bleeding page], such as Mirena® IUD, NEXPLANON®, NovaSure® and MyoSure®.

For our patients with abnormal pap smears, we perform colposcopies and LEEP procedures in our offices.

For ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids and abnormal menstrual bleeding, we offer endometrial biopsies and laparoscopies. For patients in need of a hysterectomy, our surgeons have expertise in vaginal, laparoscopic, da Vinci ® minimally invasive robotic, and abdominal hysterectomy.

    Obstetrics Services

For women who are pregnant or considering pregnancy, our obstetrics services include pre- and postnatal care for normal and high-risk pregnancy, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).

We are particularly interested in working with women pre-pregnancy to ensure they enter pregnancy as healthy as possible, which makes pregnancy easier and safer for both Mom and Baby. We provide care that helps women with chronic diseases, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, control those conditions before becoming pregnant, which also assists in becoming pregnant. We also help women who are opting to start a family later in life begin pregnancy in a healthy and fit state.

With regular check-ups, we monitor and help our patients with pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia, and thyroid disorders. We offer expertise in preterm labor, patients of advanced maternal age and multiple births. When a patient is determined to be high risk or have complications that require additional care, we co-manage with maternal fetal medicine specialists to ensure continuity of care. There is nothing more important to us than a healthy outcome for Mom and Baby.

In order to make periodic, routine testing during pregnancy more convenient for our patients, our office is proud to offer onsite pelvic ultrasound, first trimester screening, and free fetal DNA testing services to our patients. Additionally, we offer genetic counseling through our board-certified genetic counselor, who will guide you through information and answer all your questions.
