• Medical Nutrition Therapy

  • Our registered dietitians provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients whose health has been impacted by injury, illness, or other condition. Through Medical Nutrition Therapy, patients are able to improve their nutrition and overall health. Our registered dietitians start with a one-hour assessment to look at your medical, lifestyle, and dietary histories as well as laboratory results and body measurements. Based on the assessment, a customized educational and nutritional plan tailored to your needs is developed. Ongoing Medical Nutritional Therapy can be continued through follow-up visits and one-on-one counseling, depending on the patient’s situation. Our registered dietitians also offer group educational classes on sports nutrition, meal planning and preparation, portion distortion, nutritional supplements, and more.

Medical Nutrition Therapy is available to patients with a variety of illnesses and conditions, including: weight management; food allergies; eating disorders; GI issues like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis; high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and/or high triglycerides; bariatric surgery preparation and nutrition; hypoglycemia; osteoporosis; pregnancy complications; and pediatric feeding concerns.
